1.1 NICOLE BELL SITTERUD'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA

I am very proud of having Grandpa and Grandma Wall as my Great Grandparents.  They have given so much; they are wonderful Great Grandparents.  Not very many people can say that they still have a relationship with their Great Grandparents like I do.  I am very lucky!  I think the thing that I enjoy most about them is going down to their house for a diet coke and homemade chocolate chip cookies, and being able to share a conversation with them.  They are strong, wise, and loving.  They take time to care for others, without worrying about them.  My daughter Asia is now able to spend time with them as I have; and that is a blessing.

1.2 ASIA BELL SITTERUD'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA

Speaking for my three-year-old daughter.  I know that she loves to go to her great-great Grandpa and Grandma Wall’s house.  She thinks the world of them both!  Grandpa Wall gets her excited.  She loves feeding the kitties.  And, of course, milk and cookies are a special treat for her.  Asia is very lucky to be able to bond so well with her Great-Great-Grandparents.

1.3 McKENZIE SITTERUD'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA

Grandma and Grandpa Wall are two very special people to me.  I always enjoy Grandpa’s warm hugs that he gives on his lazy boy, and Grandma’s hugs and kisses whenever I come down for cookies and milk.  I also love to hear Grandpa and Grandma’s stories about their life and all the good and bad times they went through.  It makes me think about how much we have and take for granted.  I am very blessed to have my Grandma and Grandpa in my life, and I hope they know I love and appreciate them a lot.

1.3 ASIA BELL SITTERUD'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA

What makes Grandpa Wall special to me are is beautiful clocks, great big moose that hangs on the wall in the basement, and spending Christmas day at their house.  What makes Grandma Wall special to me is her homemade jam, homemade pies, creamed peas, and chocolate chip cookies.  It is nice to have a place that I can just drop in with any of my friends and we are always welcome

Memories of Great Grandma and Grandpa Wall

My great grandparents are super fun. My great grandpa takes his teeth out and chases us with them. He has a talking parrot that copies everything you say in a high pitch voice. My great grandma makes heavenly food and is really nice. I love them!

Memories of Great Grandma and Grandpa Wall

I remember going to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's house. I remember as soon as we'd walk in the door they would give us hugs and kisses. Then Grandpa would show us his clocks and let us all take one home. I still have the one he gave me and I will treasure it forever.

One of my favorite memories of going to their house was going down in the basement and playing on their exercise bike. I remember one particular day when Grandpa came down and took out his teeth. He chased us all around the basement and we were all screaming and laughing and running. Then Grandma came down stairs to tell us it was time for lunch. I specifically remember her creamy cooked carrots and her delicious toffee. Yum!

When ever we came for a visit Grandpa always took us to the little store by his house and bought us candy. Then we went home and he gave us all some money. We tried to give it back but he always insisted that we keep it.

In Grandma's closet she had her square dance dresses hung up. I remember her showing them to us. They were very beautiful and Grandma must have looked pretty wearing them. My mom said Grandma used to go square dancing every Friday. She must have been really good at it.

I always loved their backyard. Especially their piano steps. We called them that because we thought they looked like piano keys.  We would jump on the different keys and pretend to play songs. I remember their beautiful backyard and how we would walk over to the fence and look at the horses. When I was younger I thought they were Grandpa's horses.

Grandpa's talking parrot was a favorite of mine. I always looked forward to visiting them so Grandpa would show us his parrot and make him say silly things. But best of all,  I remember the stories Grandpa would tell. Usually he told stories about his life. It was very exciting. Grandpa was a great story teller.

Memories of Great Grandma and Grandpa Wall

I love to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I remember going to their house and getting chased by Grandpa's teeth. Grandma always made a huge meal for us to eat. I also remember being little and playing that the back steps were a piano. Sometimes grandpa would get down the parrot and let us listen to it repeat everything you said. Grandpa would always give us some money and take us to the store to buy candy. Whenever we would just be sitting down and listening to them tell us about their lives Grandma would always bring out something she's made and let us eat it. When I was little I remember climbing into their big tree and playing castle.

Memories of Great Grandma and Grandpa Wall

I've always loved going to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Grandma always had an incredible meal prepared for us, and afterwards, I've always enjoyed listening to them tell stories about their lives. Sometime Grandpa would take out his teeth to show us kids–– and chase us with them!

They had a parrot that would repeat what you said, we had fun with that. Grandpa would often give us some money to go down to the corner store with. I also remember playing in their back yard. We would roll down the grassy hill or run around the patio in the back. There was a tree in their     front yard that we would play in, too. One time Grandpa let each of us take one of his wonderful clocks he made home. That is something I'll always treasure. I think, most of all, I'll always remember what hardworking wonderful people they always were. They've set a great example of service to each of us.

2.2. 1 ZAKREY'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WALL

Zakrey would like to compliment Great-grandma on her cooking.  He wants to send his mom and future wife to Great-grandma's to learn how to cook. He also wants to compliment Grandpa on how funny it is when he pulls his teeth out.
Love, Zakrey Wall

2.2.2  TYSON'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WALL

When I think about Great-grandma and Great-grandpa Wall I think about Grandma's homestyle cooking.  I remember driving to Cleveland in order to eat a great homecooked meal.  Having all the family around eating her warm, hearty food was wonderful.  Then Grandpa would always make us laugh by taking out his teeth, we all thought that was funny.
Grandpa and Grandma I love you guys.

Love, Tyson Wall

2.2.3  CHELSEY'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WALL

A few weeks ago, my mother gave me a picture of my Great-grandpa sheering sheep when he was in his early twenties. I could not believe how much Great-grandpa and I look alike. Not to mention, the beautiful dimples he passed on to me.  Another memory I have of grandpa is a large, very heavy dinosaur fossil he found in the mines and gave to me after he discovered that I really loved dinosaurs. I will never forget that! I think my brothers and sister and I used that dinosaur print for show and tell for years. I will also never forget the warm welcoming smile on grandma's face every time we walked in their door. She is also the best cook in the world and I looked forward to her food and then weighing about five pounds more the next day because I could not get enough. Thank you Great-grandma for your love and kindness, and Great-grandpa for you good looks that I inherited.

Love, Chelsey Wall

2.2.4  ASHLY'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WALL

One thing that I will always remember about Great-grandma and Great-grandpa is how Grandpa will pull his teeth out to show all the little kids.  Of course everyone always giggles and thinks it is funny.  I always loved when Grandpa would pull out his teeth but what I loved even more was waiting for Grandma's reaction when she found out that his teeth were out.  I don't know if she really thought it was funny and she just told him to stop it or if she really didn't like it.  Either way, it was fun to watch Grandpa in his moment of entertaining while knowing that at any minute you were going to hear Grandma yelling at him from across the room.  This always put a smile on my face.  I Love You Both!

Ashly - August 12, 2002!

4.1 JESSICA STOKER'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA

I remember Grandpa always giving us money to go to the store next their house.  Grandma always has good homemade cookies in the cookie jar waiting for me when I got there.

You always give us great presents on Christmas Day.  I still have my porcelain dolls that you gave me and I also have the jewelry box that you gave me too.

I had lots of good times with you guys and will always remember them too.

 Love, Jessica -  August 12, 2002

4.2 BEAU STOKER'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA

The thought of Grandma and Grandpa Wall triggers a rush of memories.  Some of those memories are funny, some are secret, but all are filled with love.  Memories involving Christmas, wooden clocks, chicken and dumplings, pies, raisin filled cookies, sheep herding, and trips to Arizona are shared by all.  Others such as a living room football game between two great grandsons, which ended in a few broken collectibles, were kept secret among the participants and grandparents so nobody would get into trouble.  Regardless of the memory, or how it was attained, ultimately the love of Grandma and Grandpa is felt.  They always did anything and everything possible to make everyone around them happy.  So, to two of the most special people to ever grace us with their presence thank you for the memories and we’ll love you always!

 With Love,

Beau - August 12, 2002

4.3 DUSTY STOKER'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA

As I think about the time I have spent with Grandma and Grandpa Wall a smile comes to my face.  I have so many loving memories of Grandma and Grandpa.  They have always been so loving and caring.  I miss being a little boy and building clocks with Grandpa or cooking with Grandma.  They will always have a special place in my heart and I would just like to tell them I LOVE YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WALL.

 With Love,

  Dusty Stoker - August 12, 2002

4.4   DANI STOKER'S TRIBUTE TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA

Dear Grandma and Grandpa Wall,

Thank you for all of the things you have done for me.  Thank you for all of the cards you gave me for my birthdays every year.

Grandpa thank you for always giving me money every time I came over, so I could go buy something at the store with my other cousins, and thank you for always bragging about our dimples (that made me feel really happy).

Grandma thank you for always offering me cookies when I came over.  They were the best cookies I’ve ever had in my life. And I also thank you for always talking to me.

I thank both of you for always caring about me and making me feel better whenever I felt sad or whenever I was lonely.  I love you both with all of my heart and I hope you can have the best life anyone can have.

   Love always,

   Dani - August 12, 2002
